Spring sketch

A bit late for this sketch, as it was meant more for the beginning of spring, but better late than never, and after all, the blossoms are still falling from the trees as they begin to leaf out...

Also, been a while since I just posted a sketch, rather than more finished pieces. I need to remember that part of the point of starting this blog was to post sketches, in all their raw unfinished form. Personally, I enjoy looking at other artists sketch process, so this is just my way of paying it forward, for those that are innerested in that sort of thang.

So, here you go!

Love this sketch Rich. It's lovely. The eyes are so perfect. When I used to decorate cakes, I hated to do people or animals because of the eyes. They are so hard. I even drafted Matt to do one the eyes one time on one of my creations.

Hope you and your family are well. We will probably be down your way in two weeks (we'll email you) to mow the grass at the house there.

Did you check out 'haps #1? Did you see the back cover?? Matt's first published comic book piece! He and Christian are so happy!

I haven't read the book yet- traveled this weekend- so if your stuff was inside- I'll make sure to keep my eye out for it.

I agree that you should post more sketches too.
