Once again have the pleasure of appearing at this year's Baltimore Comic-Con, on September 7th and 8th, and like last year, contributing to the Con yearbook. The yearbook is a cool way to celebrate a milestone of a creator owned character or property, and the pages are filled with artists teaming up their own character with the celebrated one(s).
The other cool thing the show does is then create a sort of scavenger hunt at the show, wherein buyers of the book try to get as many of the artists' signatures in their book, to earn a prize print. Pretty cool concept! And we got many more folks coming by our tables last year that wouldn't have otherwise known our work, so a win all around.
Last year, it was Frank Cho's Liberty Meadows celebrating 15 years. This year, Stan Sakai's Usagi Yojimbo celebrates 30 years! A fine accomplishment!
Needless to say, I had a blast teaming Annie Ammo with Usagi. I may well have to set a future story in Feudal Japan...
Hope to see some of y'all at the show, and enjoy!
